FAQ'S
What to expect on one of our fun and funky Dog photoshoots
-
My dog doesn't know sit or other commands. Can I still book a session?YES! Absolutely. 100% Dogs will be dogs and that’s why we love working with them! They are silly, playful, goofy and often a bit unpredictable which results in some pretty unique and sometimes unexpected shots! We also have acquired some pretty nifty tricks to get their attention just at the right moment and secrets to help them to stay when we really need it. Safety is the single most important thing during our sessions, so any leashes or arms in the photo that were necessary to get the shot can be removed in post editing!

What should I bring to the shoot? Please bring a favourite toy, small towel, appropriate treats and any accessories you may want in some of our funky photos.

About your sessionWe are on hand to make sure you and your dog have the best experience possible from start to finish on your dog photography journey with me. Let’s take a look how it works… We will schedule a phone call and/or have a chat via email so that we both have all the info to make sure your dog has a fantastic experience at their photoshoot During your shoot, we will brief you on specific things to keep in mind & the shoot will be an incredible amount of fun. It takes a bit of time to let your dog familiarise themselves so please don’t worry about being rushed. Once we have captured amazing images of your dog, we will get to work retouching and adding that extra woof your dog deserves. When the gallery is finished, we will arrange a viewing session where we will reveal your images to you an assist with the purchase of any particular products.

How to prepare for your pet photshootConsider a pre-session spa day for your dog. If you need to schedule a grooming appointment, do it a few days in advance so that the fur has settled and excess energy from the experience has had the time to be expelled. It's an excellent tip to never book a grooming appointment on the same day as your photography session. If you have a dog with longer or thicker fur, please remember the hair around their eyes. We want your dog to look their very best for their photosoot. These images are for youand your family to cherish for years to come, so you decide what's right for you and your dog.
